I like that candy has a really energetic and sweet addictive personality but eating people. Murdering them confusing them for candy, that's too much until I remember that I have a child character who is addicted to sweet too and would skin people to get the sugar from their blood vessels if they don't get enough. And this fact of this character of mine is inspired from a moss eater. LOL

Not only sweet, he's like a baby who eats everything they find on the floor.
